This tea has an beautiful amber color. The first sip has a hit of a rich black tea with undertones of honey. It is smooth and comforting. As you continue, the floral notes of rose start to shine through, adding a fragrant and flowery finish. The flavors are balanced and it is light and smooth that makes it easy to drink in the mornings and afternoons.

I first discovered bulgarian rose tea on a holiday to France and I loved it. When I saw this definitely couldn’t resist trying. I enjoy this tea very much. If you are looking for a very strong commercially flavored rose, this tea is not it. The only roses are the petals and it blends well with the top quality tea base, the brew has a refined and subtle floral fragrance. Definitely for those seeking something more elegant.

A lovely tea that is smooth and mellow. Don’t oversteep for the best flavors, I find around 3 min to 4 is just right for me. This is also great with a dash of milk or dollop of cream.
