Nestled near Huangshan (Yellow Mountain), Mao Feng stands as a renowned variety of green tea. Its name translates to “Yellow Mountain Fur Peak“, aptly describing the small white hairs that adorn the leaves and their distinctive shape, reminiscent of a mountain peak.
Our Mao Feng stands out as among the finest available: handpicked from small farms in early Spring, only the tender new buds and the leaf adjacent to the bud are selected.
The resulting leaves resemble delicate orchid buds, ensuring a tea of exceptional quality and flavor.

A refined and elegant tea. The tea infusion is a light golden, clear and inviting. The aroma is fresh and fragrant. High quality Mao Feng has hints of florals and this one had wonderful floral notes. The flavors begins with smooth and slightly sweet, further evolving into a harmonious balance of earthy and refreshing. A very good cup of tea. I enjoyed this very much

This tea is very elegant and clean tasting, just like how I like my green teas. Mao Feng and Tie Guanyin are both my favourites, you can find both of exceptional quality from here!

This tea is great if you are looking for a premium green tea experience. This tea is not particularly expensive, but the changing layers of flavors speak of its high quality. I would recommend this for both seasoned tea drinks and newcomers too. Try it and it will speak for itself: highly recommended!

I like this Mao Feng very much. If you don’t oversteep it, it is not “siap” at all. You can taste the flowers blooming in your mount and you head calm down in the quiet woods. Excellent tea for the price point will highly recommend!!

If you’re on the hunt for a top-notch green tea, let me introduce you to this Mao Feng:, this tea lives up to its name. It is visually interesting, with little white hairs on the leaves that give them a fuzzy look—kind of like little mountain peaks!
The leaves are beautiful and delicate, and when you brew them, you get this lovely golden-yellow color and the floral aroma and earthiness combined is truly unique.
Depending on how long you steep it, you can really play around with the flavors. A quick steep brings out the sweet, floral notes, while a longer steep gives you a bit more depth and earthiness. A good tea!

Excellent quality tea, very premium in taste. To get the best out of it, I find letting the boiling water cool a bit to maybe around 80 deg, brings out the best flavors with no astringency at all. Nevertheless its a matter of personal taste, I recommend experimenting with the water temperature and steep times to find the sweet spot that works for you. The dry leave is beautiful with dark and light shades of green, the wet leaves make a beautiful forest. One of my favorite green teas!
